9240si Loop Controller User Manual -
The P/N 9240SI model has been discontinued. ECA GROUP has replaced it with P/N 20549SI, a new loop controller that is fully backward compatible and offers enhanced features.
: A similar "Fire Loop Testing Tool" specification sheet, which covers the operating principles shared by the 9240SI, can be found at Key Technical Features Measurement Modes
Tighten the bracket screws evenly against the back of the panel. Do not overtighten, as this can crack the plastic housing. Environmental Considerations 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F). Humidity: 10% to 90% RH, non-condensing.
Quickly identify operational faults using built-in system diagnostics. Meaning: Input sensor open circuit or over-range. 9240si loop controller user manual
Connect the positive lead to Terminal 13 and the negative lead to Terminal 14. Use appropriate compensation wire.
Sets the minimum allowable target value.
using standard 4-20mA wiring. Single Loop Controllers with 4-20mA wiring. The P/N 9240SI model has been discontinued
Cause: The system failed to complete tuning cycles within the safety time limit.
🔧
Ensure your panel cutout matches standard DIN dimensions (typically 1/16 DIN, 48mm x 48mm, or 1/8 DIN, 48mm x 96mm, depending on your exact 9240si chassis variant). Do not overtighten, as this can crack the plastic housing
When assessing insulation resistance, standard DC megohmmeters can sometimes stress or alter sensitive sensor salts. The 9240SI avoids this by measuring the of the fire loop assembly and calculating its equivalent Zccap Z sub c impedance using an internal 1 kHz AC test frequency.
Root Cause : Complete depletion of internal battery cells or blown internal protection fuse.
