Honeywell XNX Universal Transmitter Quick Start Guide: Installation and Configuration
If your unit includes the local relay option, wire your external alarms or horn/strobe units to the dedicated relay terminal slots:
Mount the transmitter in a location where the target gas is most likely to accumulate, factoring in the gas density relative to air (e.g., lower for heavy gases, higher for light gases).
Install the XNX in an area accessible for maintenance, free from excessive vibration, and where the target gas is likely to accumulate. 2. Mounting the XNX Transmitter Xnx Universal Transmitter Quick Start Guide
Gently pull the display module forward and unclip its retaining tether to expose the terminal blocks underneath. Power and 4-20mA Signal Wiring (3-Wire Current Source)
